June 9, 20003
They finally get to visit Kobe Sushi, Smiley's new reataurant. They dine on the best sushi they've pretty much ever had
and drink sake and chat with Teresa, who showed up to meet them and to see Smiley...A wonderful time followed by a (predictable)
LR visit.
Next Day
They realize that their need for raw fish has yet to be fulfilled so they head to Wolfgang Puck's for more affordable
eats made possible by happy hour. Kim didn't eat all day, so at this point, she is officially feuled by sushi and nothing
else, since the last meal she had before that was at Smiley's.
Richie is still not in love with Kim. Kim doesn't seem to notice a difference, though perhaps she doesn't care either
way, as long as they keep having their fun together.
June 15, 2003
Richie, Kim and Kim's parents attend a birthday party/Father's Day Party/Church Choir Party together where they eat ham
and assorted pot luck-style goodies. Their contribution? A punch bowl full of strawberry soup. They play a game of pool
with two of the Feuerborn brothers and leave. LR follows.
June 27, 2003, Friday night
Kim adventures with Elliott (sadly, Elliott is a poor substitution for her love Richie) to LA to protest Bu$h's arrival
at the Century Plaza Hotel.
June 29, 2003, Sunday
Richie and Kim adventure to LA after a weekend of moving. Richie is officially an Orangentarian again on this day! In
LA they see a show called By the Hand of the Father at the John Anson Ford Amphitheater and a dinner at Toi on Sunset follws.
There's a crispy honey duck there that's to die for. They spend a night apart for the first time in awhile.
June 30, 2003 Monday night
Kim waits for Richie at the LR where she had been eagerly awaiting his arrival by 6:45 or 7pm latest. This is his first
time being late, amazingly, and he shows up sometime after 8. They piss the night away with Fred and Morgan at his new home.
Night number two without each other.
