Friday, April 4, 2003- They go out one night premature. Kim calls Richie to confirm for the following night and he invites
her along to Danny K's for some pool out of the blue. She goes for a little while before heading off to her home turf, the
LR.
April 5, 2003 First official date
Richie meets mom right off the bat and scores major brownie points with Kim. They go to Wolfgang Puck's where they score
free drinks and sushi, a good luck omen and a half. They proceed to Camelot for mini golf, one round, after which they go
to Modjeska Canyon to the little gazebo on the hill. Richie kisses her after getting a signal from her that she didn't mean
to send- D'OH!
She says, "I've never kissed a guy with a tongue ring before" and he understands that to mean that he should
show her what it's all about. She wants to know what it's all about, as he guessed, but she was a little intimidated by the
whole set up of moonlight, stars, and the night chill. She is also caught off gaurd by the fact that the feeling of attraction
might actually be mutual.
April 11, 2003 second official date
This time, they take it easy and play pool and slap with Rebec's bros Ira and Jonathan, Rebec and Dave at LR all night.
Kim refrains from slap for the sake of her hand.
April 13, 2003 unnoficial 3rd
To the LR again. Kim starts to feel a real attraction at this point but isn't sure what kind it is, whether friend or
something completely different.
4-20-2003, official 3rd date
They celebrate a happy Easter together, adventuring between Morgan and Fred's and the Block, where they have Wolfgang's
sushi, sashimi and see Phone Booth at 4:20pm. Richie has his first freshwater eel nigiri. He also has hand-eye coordination
problems that day and isn't able to manipulate the sushi with his chopsticks in a way where the sushi will enter or stay in
his mouth, a highly unusual display of Richieness. They go to to LR at the end of the day. Kim and Richie smooch for the
official first time back at the gazebo form the first date.
4-22-2003 They talk on the phone together at night....things are in the makes!
4-25, 2003 Friday
Kim goes down to San Clemente to Richie's lair for the first time and meets his roommate Tige. They head to the beach
and sit on the pier for a good long while. The webmaster now notices a trend: the two of them go out and only leave after
they're nearly too cold to move.
Monday, April 28, 2003 Kim is officially infatuated. Everything herein shall be written in italics as a symbolicism of
her whirlwind heart and mind, spinning with thoughts of him, a head spinning so hard that all of the words look slanted.
Just kidding. On this night, Kim writes about Richie in her journal before she goes to sleep at 1 am and wakes up to
continue writing about him at 11:20am. She writes down what she doesn't want to forget, which is everything they did over
the weekend: an Angels game, (F) The Getty Museum, (Sat) Mexico and the LR. (Sun)
